playdough recipes one oh one

Okay all you keen moms and dads, all you honest to goodness child carers this is the blog to get the wooden spoons whirring on the best playdough recipes there are. Forget that expensive, plastic wrapped playdough in tiny little tubs, you can make the best stuff at home.
I am writing this blog because there were a bunch of kids at my place the other day and there were, well, getting a little annoying (they had started writing on my walls in Burmese! which is no worse than writing in English i must say) anyway, i was making some bread at the time, (which i do almost every weekend) and i had a bit of dough left over. it was white, yeasty smelling and little sticky. even so, it did the trick two over energised boys that were bored to death knew exactly what to do. they made cars and people and endless games for hours until the dough was so dry that it couldn't be shaped any more (and was certainly too dirty to be cooked). now if that's what kids do with white leftover dough then i thought its time to bring back the play dough (as if it ever left our hearts.

i know why you here, lets face it everyone loves playdough, boys, girls even graphic design students. there is nothing like looking at your creation with pride. and there is nothing that will keep a bunch of kids amused for hours more than some hypercolour play dough. unless of course you happen to build free community playgrounds which i do (www.playgroundideas.org). however that's another story.... so i have scoured the web and found you the best home made recipes you can find so the world can share in the joy of making and sharing playdoh because children's imagination and creativity is what i am all about.
